Job Summary
Home Helpers Home Care - Westminster is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing individualized care and support to our clients, allowing them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist with meal preparation, household chores, and light housekeeping
Support clients with daily living activities, such as medication management and mobility assistance
Engage in conversations, play games, and participate in activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation
Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes or concerns to the designated staff member
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
Demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding when working with clients and their families
Requirements:
3 years of experience in healthcare or caregiving
Ability to lift, move, and transfer clients with care and attention to their safety and well-being
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable)
Work Environment:
Full-time position, with flexible scheduling to accommodate client needs
Hourly rate $16.00 and comprehensive benefits package
