Pay: $11.00 – $15.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Available

Job Description

SYNERGY HomeCare of Southeast Texas is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home care to clients throughout Southeast Texas. Whether your experience comes from caring for a loved one or working professionally, we welcome individuals who are passionate about helping others live safely and independently at home.

Responsibilities

  • Provide non-medical assistance and support in the client’s home

  • Offer companionship through conversation, reading, and activities

  • Support mental alertness with engaging, client-centered activities

  • Provide emotional support and encouragement

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy home environment

  • Perform light housekeeping (laundry, linens, basic cleaning)

  • Prepare and serve meals and clean the kitchen afterward

  • Assist with grooming and dressing

  • Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and walks

  • Provide medication reminders for self-administered medications

  • Observe and report changes in client condition to a supervisor

  • Build positive relationships with clients, families, and team members

  • Complete accurate documentation of care provided

  • Participate in training, staff meetings, and care discussions

  • Follow all safety, confidentiality, and company policies

Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of personal or professional caregiving experience

  • Reliable transportation

  • Valid Texas Driver’s License and current auto insurance

  • Strong communication skills and a caring attitude

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Dependable, patient, and detail-oriented

  • Ability to pass a background check
