About the Role:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Desert Peak Care Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, providing assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting. You will also be responsible for monitoring vital signs, tracking medications, and communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nurse or other healthcare team members
Assist with medication administration and other treatments as ordered by the physician
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and services provided
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families

Requirements:
Current CNA certification
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift and transfer patients, as well as stand for extended periods
