Cisco Data Network Engineer

• Monitor
  network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, servers) using tools like
  SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor, Nagios, Zabbix, or PRTG Network
  Monitor
• Configure
  alerts and notifications for system anomalies
• Ensure
  network uptime and service availability (24/7 monitoring in NOC
  environments)
• Generate
  reports on network performance and incidents
• Implement
  and maintain monitoring dashboards

Key
Responsibilities*

• Knowledge
  of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
• Experience
  with monitoring tools (mentioned above)
• Wireshark
  (packet analysis)
• Understanding
  of Linux/Windows systems
• Scripting
  knowledge (Python, Bash) is a plus
