VCA Northwest Veterinary Emergency and Specialists is a 24-hour Animal Hospital located in Clackamas, Oregon. We are currently seeking experienced Client Service Representatives to join our team.

We’re looking for a personable, and highly professional “service extraordinaire” to join us in delivering our mission to our clients and their pets.


What is a Client Service Representative?:
A Client Service Representative (CSR) is the face of VCA and first point of contact at the hospital. The CSR sets the tone for the hospital as we create, build and maintain relationships with our referring doctors, and pet owners.   The CSR is an essential role which ensures efficient hospital flow and operations.

What is a Client Service Representative responsible for?:

A CSR is responsible for but not limited to:
• Customer service functions such as: greeting visitors, answering high call volume phones, requesting records, and assisting/guiding clients as needed.
• Presenting and explaining fees, and processing payments.
• Working in tandem with all doctors to recommend, select, and obtain products and services, including medications and prescriptions.
• Educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Ensuring the lobby is clean and safe for pets and clients.

We are seeking someone who will primarily work overnights.

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and be exposed to hazards such as allergies, contagious diseases, noises, odors, bites, scratches and animal waste.

Ability to sit at a work station for long periods of time.
