VCA Broad Street Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Client Service Rep to join our team!

We are a busy 3-doctor practice located in Fuquay-Varina, dedicated to high quality medicine with a focus on client education. We pride ourselves on the relationships we develop with our clients and patients. We strive to provide the best medicine in a state of the art facility.

We are open Monday through Friday 7:30am - 6pm, Saturdays 8am - 2pm, closed Sundays.

About the Role

As the face of VCA, the CSR sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities.   Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients
  • Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments
  • Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions
  • Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control)
  • Hospital maintenance and ensuring that facility is neat and clean
  • Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence
