A day in the life:                  

As a Cloud Systems Administrator supporting this mission critical project and Integration Team, you will support all of their cloud environments, both classified and unclassified, that are a part of the overall infrastructure footprint.                     
                  

What you bring to the table:

All of our cloud engineers need the following skills:                        
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree..               
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.               
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud.               
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.               
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.               
  • A TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.               
       
For this particular role, you will also need:                        
  • 20+ years of relevant experience in systems administration and software engineering.
  • Linux system administration and integration experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Cloud services experience (AWS, Azure); services provisioning, management of virtual services, familiarity with vendor Platform as a Service offerings
  • System monitoring and maintenance to include service upgrades, security patching, and IAVA management
  • Tier 1/2 troubleshooting
  • Configuration management support, familiarity with Puppet/SIMP, Ansible, Salt, Chef
  • Familiarity with configuration and workflow tools such as GitLab, Jira             
  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate or similar.               
       
 These are important skills to have, but not necessarily mandatory:                        
  • Understanding of distributed systems

Salary Range:   
  • Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation.  Our approach in determining final salaries takes into consideration a number of factors such as education, certifications, total years of relevant professional experience, actual level of expertise, and the responsibilities of the role itself. 
  • Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the projected pay range for this position is:  $180,000 - $275,000.
