On behalf of Deutsche Bank, AMS are now looking for a Cloud Migration Programme Manager to work in their Risk, Finance & Treasury (RFT) Technology team based in London to work on the RFT Cloud Transformation Programme on a PAYE basis. The role is hybrid with 2 days per week in the Canary Wharf office. It is an initial 6 month contract with scope for extension.
The RFT Cloud Transformation Programme is looking to recruit an experienced Programme/Portfolio Management expert with proven experience in Programme governance, planning, tracking, and reporting. Plus Financial management both CtB and RtB reduction.
Overview:
You will work in a team with responsibility for the successful execution of the Cloud Transformation Strategy, including programme health, roadmap definition, milestone tracking, escalations, JIRA backlog establishment and tracking, senior executive reporting, headcount and financial management. You will work closely with the sub-domain stakeholders (CIOs, PMs and Domain Architects) .
The parent Initiative is a greenfield transformation programme covering front to back transformation within the bank. It employs ~500 people and as such is complex and extremely fast paced. The role will require context switching, managing tight timelines, coordinating responses to technical challenges and dependencies, and remaining clear on the ‘so what’ of the request.
Key responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for managing the critical path of the programme.
- You will be able to understand technical challenges to application migrations and support application migration team to unblock the challenges.
- You will be required to respond quickly to frequent fire drills and ad hoc requests
- You will drive the build out of the migration roadmap, holding planning sessions as well as supporting SMEs..
- You will act as the SME on programme governance processes ensuring full interlock with the parent initiative Educating the application teams on the migration User Journeys and challenging their plans with this SME knowledge.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience of working as a Portfolio Manager/ Technical Delivery Lead, reporting to senior audiences
- Experience articulating the problem statement, mobilizing a response and articulate a final position, irrespective of subject matter.
- Demonstrable experience in Governance and driving complex transformation programmes to successful conclusions.
- Strong organizational skills managing multiple workstreams and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Experience to comprehend, link and aggregate CTB tech outcomes and benefits for senior business stakeholder audiences.
- Ability to identify and track complex and critical delivery dependencies across a matrix organisation.
- Proven ability of successfully managing entire projects or phases of projects across the delivery lifecycle (design, build and test).
- Excellent presentation skills using a variety of tools (powerpoint, excel, word, visio, publisher).
- Hands on experience with JIRA, Sharepoint and Confluence.
- Experience with Clarity or similar PPM tool; ability to adopt new tooling rapidly.
