Practical Information:
Location: Budapest, Hungary | Reports to: Head of Cloud Operations | Work Arrangement: Hybrid | Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for Hungary | Language Requirements: fluent/professional level of Hungarian
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the stability, performance, and security of Azure-based cloud platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, including root cause analysis and improvements
- Support and guide team members on complex technical challenges
- Manage infrastructure and configurations across IaaS/PaaS environments
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. security, DevOps, engineering) and external partners
- Contribute to documentation, operational processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
What we need to see from you
- Solid experience working with Microsoft Azure (core requirement)
- Background in operations of enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure
- Understanding of networking, identity & access management, and security concepts
- Experience troubleshooting complex cloud or infrastructure-related issues
- Ability to guide others, share knowledge, and act as a technical reference point
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Openness for on-call rotation (planned and shared across the team)
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g. telecom, finance) is beneficial, but not mandatory.
