Cloud System Admin:
Bowhead seeks a Cloud System Admin to manage cloud applications, systems, and services, ensuring optimal performance and security.
This position is onsite Local to Mobile, AL
- Administer and maintain cloud systems including security controls and business applications.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshooting issues.
- Ensure systems are compliant with security standards.
- Implement and manage storage and resource allocation in the cloud environment.
- Work closely with IT team to coordinate system development in the cloud to satisfy business needs.
- Manage disaster recovery and create backups to ensure data protection.
- Regularly review and update existing cloud infrastructure to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of cloud system configuration, including system updates and changes.
- Stay up-to-date with trends and advancements in cloud technologies and potential implications for the business.
- Communicate and collaborate with architects, developers, project managers, stakeholders, and security teams.
Tech
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure core services, including compute, storage, networking, and PaaS offerings (databases, app services, etc.)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation.
- Knowledge of cloud security, identity management, governance, and monitoring.
- Basic Windows Server administration skills.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, sense of urgency.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Public Trust clearance at this location.
