Description
CodeValue is looking for experienced COBOL Developers to join a large-scale Enterprise project in the banking and financial services domain.
The role focuses on mission-critical Core Banking and legacy systems in an IBM Mainframe environment. You will work on systems that are central to the organization's core financial operations, alongside experienced technology professionals.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain COBOL-based applications in an IBM Mainframe environment.
- Work on Batch and Online processing systems.
- Develop and maintain solutions in mission-critical banking systems.
- Work with CICS and DB2 environments.
- Support integration between legacy and modern Enterprise systems.
- Analyze existing code and implement enhancements and fixes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support system stability.
- Participate in the modernization and evolution of Core Banking systems.
Location: Rishon LeZion
Work Model: Hybrid – 1 day per week on-site
Requirements
Proven hands-on experience with COBOL development.
Experience working in IBM Mainframe environments.
Experience with Batch and Online processing.
Experience with CICS and DB2.
Experience working with large-scale, mission-critical systems.
Experience with legacy system modernization – an advantage.
Banking / Core Banking experience – a strong advantage.
