Coded Welder

SRG Global is seeking experienced Coded Welders to support our operations in Kwinana. In this casual, ongoing role, you'll apply your welding and fabrication expertise across periodic campaign maintenance, grouped/batched maintenance programs, and both preventative and corrective maintenance activities. Working to coded welding standards, you'll carry out on-site fabrication, repairs, and modifications as part of the day-to-day maintenance and servicing of Fixed Plant Equipment.

The Opportunity:

• Welding and structural fabrication, including structural steel and pressure pipe (6G)
• Maintenance and repair of fixed plant systems including thickeners, pumps, chutes, hoppers, tanks, piping, ductwork, and structural supports
• Repairing and replacing worn components, pipework, and structural elements
• Interpreting drawings and specifications to complete work to spec and on schedule
• Workshop-based work with ongoing on-site support
• Involvement in breakdown opportunities and shutdowns

What You Need:

• Ability to pass a 6G Weld Test
• Trade Certificate – Cert III Mechanical/Engineering Trade.
• Working at Heights & Confined Space (Within 2 years).
• Pass a pre-employment medical.
• Hold a current driver’s license.
