A central web-based reporting platform is used across teams to provide insights and improve decision-making. This internship focuses on taking ownership of this platform, ensuring its continuity, reliability, and further evolution within the ASML environment.

This is not a greenfield development role, but a hands-on engineering assignment involving an existing production system, including software, infrastructure, and integrations.

Your assignment

  • Ensure secure, structured, and well-documented code

  • Debug, maintain, and enhance existing functionality

  • Support deployment and operation in a Kubernetes-based environment

  • Work with Docker for containerization

  • Handle integrations with internal systems and APIs

  • Contribute to system reliability, performance, and scalability

  • Take ownership of practical aspects such as:

    • Access management

    • Configuration and integrations

    • Environment-related challenges

  • Improve UI/UX to ensure a clear and intuitive user experience

  • Independently identify improvements and drive implementation

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar

  • Experience with:

    • C# / .NET (Web API or similar)

    • Python

    • Web development (frontend & backend)

  • Understanding of:

    • SQL / relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL)

    • Git and version control practices

  • Interest in or willingness to learn:

    • Blazor WebAssembly

    • Kubernetes and Docker

    • System integrations and APIs

  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility

  • Able to work independently in a complex environment

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and quality-driven

  • Good communication skills in English

  • Duration: Minimum 6 months

  • Working days: 5 days per week (4 on-site)

  • Start date: September 2026 (flexible)

  • Type: Graduation (Bachelor/Master thesis) internship

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

  • Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;

  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter needs to include the willingness to relocate.

  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
