What You’ll Do
- Serve as the on-site representative for construction projects
- Document daily field activities and perform construction inspection
- Coordinate with contractors, owners, engineering teams, and community stakeholders
- Assist with construction contract administration and pay applications
- Support RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
- Track quantities and perform basic field calculations
- Identify field issues and help develop effective solutions
- Attend project meetings and communicate updates to supervisors
- Support additional construction-related project needs as assigned
What You Bring
Typical backgrounds may include:
- A.S. or B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Field construction or inspection experience (internships, co-ops, or full-time)
- Familiarity with roadway, utility, or municipal infrastructure construction
- Ability to read plans and interpret specifications
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; exposure to MicroStation or CAD is a plus
- A collaborative, problem-solving mindset and interest in technical growth
