About this role
As the CI/CD program architect, you will be responsible for leading and managing this pivotal software development process. You will need to be detail-oriented, have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and be able to innovate and adapt to changing technologies and projects.
Key Responsibilities
As a CI/CD program architect, your responsibilities would include designing and implementing a continuous integration and delivery process for software development projects. This would involve:
- Develop a 3-5 year roadmap for CI/CD solutions within Digital Sales and Service
- Collaborating with development, infrastructure, architecture and BU teams to understand their needs and requirements
- Designing automated testing, build and deployment processes
- Configuring and deploying CI/CD tools such as Copado
- Creating and maintaining scripts for automated testing, build and deployment
- Troubleshooting issues with the CI/CD pipeline
- Ensuring security and compliance requirements are met
- Developing best practices, guidelines, and standards for the CI/CD pipeline
- Conducting training sessions to increase awareness and adoption of the CI/CD pipeline
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of experience in designing, deploying and maintaining stable CICD pipelines, blue/green deployments
- 5+ years of strong experience with configuration and management tools and/or with automation tools
- 5+ years of experience with DevOps platforms and leading complex implementations globally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile and SAFe development methodologies
- Experience with Salesforce platform production deployments working in an agile methodology environment
- Excellent understanding and demonstrated experience in the use of DevOps tools (Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Automated deployment, Sonar tools etc.)
- Proven ability to lead virtual teams, manage projects and deliver results in a diverse stakeholder environment
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to rally team members around a common vision. Strong upward-influencing skills
- Executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders to drive change
- Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary
- Team player with a positive, collaborative work ethic
