Contractor Senior Salesforce Developer with (Azure) Devops experience - Valencia

For an international organization in Valencia, we are
urgently looking for a Freelance Senior Salesforce Developer with Azure Devops
experience.

EU candidates need to be fluent in English. This position is
long-term. Work permit is required. This position is open for freelancers and
employees.

During the corona crisis, interviews will be done through
WEBEX and travel is not required for the interviews.  Start can be remote due to Covid, when the
situation allows it, candidates will need to work on-site.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Scheduling, coordinate and the management of releases across
  multiple Salesforce orgs and distributed development team;
  
• Administer and effectively use tools for code deployments,
  version control, and automated testing;
  
• Provision development environment for distributed
  development team and responsible for overall environment readiness activities
  (sandboxes, scratch org etc.);
  
• Set up release branch within the source code repository and
  maintain branch structure;
  
• Design and write build scripts and move configuration and
  code between version, resolve merge conflicts between release branches;
  
• Own and continually improve the release process by
  documenting release issues and developing plans to improve process or
  automation;
  
• Manage the backup and roll-back plan for each release;
  
• Apply full stack approach to solution design through
  planning, testing, implementing, deploying and operations of solutions;
  
• Engage in code and technical design review of solution
  implementation;
  
• Document all aspects of the DevOps pipeline and processes,
  including developer guide, knowledge articles, diagrams, setup/maintenance
  procedures, build steps, deployment steps and providing training to new team
  member etc;
  
• Lead the modern software development lifecycle best practices
  including iterative and incremental development, delivering working software
  frequently with attention to technical excellence;
  
• Others task as required to support Salesforce projects and
  initiatives;
  

Profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree;
  
• Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud,
  Marketing Cloud, Community cloud)
  
• +5 years of experience in building applications using
  Lightning components, APEX, Visualforce and UI related coding technologies,
  Salesforce.com Web Services APIs - Force.com SOAP and REST-based Web Service
  APIs, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API;
  
• +2 years managing software releases in a DevOps environment,
  preferable with Azure DevOps;
  
• Experience in building a DevOps pipeline including
  installation of industry-standard CI/CD engines such as Azure DevOps, CircleCI,
  CumulusCI etc. and experience with the scripting language such as Shell or
  Python;
  
• Proficiency in Salesforce SFDX and Metadata API source
  control & deployment strategies. Experience Salesforce scratch org creation
  and developing of second-generation package is plus;
  
• Having Salesforce Certification (Salesforce Certified
  Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer and platform developer II) are
  highly regarded;
  
• Experience of working with Salesforce ISV and experience of developing
  and managing the app exchange managed package is a plus;
