SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of the role is to provide accounting oversight that includes commissioning, purchasing inventory, reconciliation of statements, reviewing and balancing schedules and closing month end and submitting remittances. The Controller also manages the accounting staff to ensure tasks are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reconciliation of monthly bank statement
- Review and balance all schedules
- Prepares month end and closes the month and makes remittances
- Prepares cheques for dealer trades lease buyouts
- Payment of floor plan for sold units
- Purchase inventory into Reynolds and Reynolds
- Post all new, used, wholesale, dealer trades, fleet deals
- Reconciliation of floor plan statement
- Reconciliation of commissions
Required experience:
- Controller: 3 years
- Accounting: 5 years
