This is a remote position.

The Opportunity:

Pentoz is reimagining how tech platforms serve industries — and hybrid mobile development is a key part of our strategy. As a Core Sencha Touch Developer, you’ll lead the development of robust, enterprise-grade mobile applications with native-like performance using the Sencha Touch framework.

This role is ideal for developers who understand the power of JavaScript-based mobile frameworks and are ready to build scalable, fast, cross-platform apps for the real world.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Mobile App Development: Building and maintaining cross-platform apps using Sencha Touch, Ext JS, JavaScript, and HTML5.

  • Custom UI Components: Creating interactive, pixel-perfect user interfaces using Sencha’s rich UI component libraries.

  • Data-Driven Architecture: Integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs, local storage, and real-time backend systems.

  • Performance Optimization: Ensuring apps load quickly, operate smoothly, and adapt responsively across device types.

  • Cross-Device Compatibility: Delivering a consistent experience on iOS, Android, and other modern mobile platforms.

  • Code Maintenance: Writing clean, modular, and maintainable code with documentation and version control best practices.

This Role Is For You If:

  • You have 3–6 years of hands-on experience with Sencha Touch, Ext JS, or similar JS-based mobile frameworks.

  • You are highly skilled in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and DOM manipulation.

  • You’ve built and deployed production-grade apps using Sencha for enterprise clients or internal business tools.

  • You understand hybrid vs native trade-offs and optimize accordingly.

  • You’re comfortable collaborating across teams (design, backend, QA) in agile settings.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience modernizing Sencha apps or migrating to ExtReact or Ionic/Flutter

  • Worked with Cordova, PhoneGap, or Capacitor for device-level integrations

  • Knowledge of data visualization or touch-optimized charts

  • Built custom Sencha UI components or contributed to libraries

  • Experience in enterprise mobility (ERP, CRM, retail, logistics, etc.)
