Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software components that integrate seamlessly within larger systems or applications. The role requires continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective software solutions. The work environment encourages the use of contemporary development frameworks and agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software products. Throughout the day, the engineer focuses on enhancing existing functionalities and innovating new features that align with organizational goals, while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within project workflows.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable software solutions using modern frameworks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within integrated systems.
- Familiarity with configuration management and version control tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in software design and coding.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
