As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components. The role requires continuous collaboration with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient applications. The engineer actively participates in refining processes and adapting to evolving project requirements, ensuring that the software meets the unique needs of the business while maintaining high performance and reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement improvements in software development processes.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project goals and deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Pega Platform.
- Experience in designing and implementing custom software components using modern development frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex system requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.
- Ability to optimize software performance and scalability in enterprise applications.
- Competence in integrating software solutions with existing systems and ensuring seamless functionality.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Pega Platform.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
