Payroll Specialist - Customer Service Representative

Evolution Payroll Services, located in West Chester, PA, is looking to hire a bright and motivated full-time employee as a payroll processor and customer service representative. Our company provides payroll, tax filing, time and attendance and other payroll related services to businesses from 1 to 1000+ employees. This opportunity is ideal for the person that is excellent at problem-solving, is a “numbers person” and is looking to begin a long-term career at a growing and thriving company. Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry of Employee and Payroll Information; process and print payroll checks and reports
  • Provide outstanding customer service – be professional, friendly, patient & attentive
  • Research and Resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Follow Company Policies and Procedures
  • Handle confidential information in an appropriate manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills Required:

  • Strong Math and Computer skills; Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize; Multi-tasking and the ability to handle interruptions
  • Independent problem solving skills; Ability to be autonomous
  • Excellent telephone, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Work Ethic
  • Detail Oriented, quality conscious, well organized and high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Associates Degree
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
  • Experience in Customer Service

Summary

This position requires the knowledge and ability to manage programs and files on a Windows based computer to work as efficiently as possible, as well as the skills to quickly learn how to navigate unfamiliar software. Expect to use 3-4 different industry specific programs on a daily basis. Knowledge and experience in computer programming and/or database structures is a plus.
