Position Summary:
Customer Support Specialists strive to provide excellent experiences to every customer who calls, emails, or chats. The ability to work quickly in multiple systems, applications, and programs is key. The Customer Support Team also relays important communication to other departments, teams, or Sales Reps for follow up. The company is rapidly growing in customer base as well as new products and services, so there will always be expectations of adapting to the changing needs of customers.
Essential Functions:
- Assisting customers from medical offices via telephone, email, and chat with requests regarding inventory, reports, device and software support/troubleshooting, portal preferences, and patient compliance information.
- Occasionally, speak with patients in relation to customer issues.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. It will take a self-motivated and dedicated person to meet the expectations. Proactive nature is a must with a willingness to learn and be flexible to changing needs.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent; College preferred but not necessary
- Customer Service Experience is a must
- Experience in administrative or healthcare with direct customer contact. Call center experience may be applicable.
- Familiar with structure, policies, and administrative needs of a medical office setting and have strong organizational skills.
- Goal oriented and self-motivated.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken. Second language a plus. Excellent writing skills
- Medical terminology, medical testing procedures, cardiac monitoring experience is a plus
- Must have strong Microsoft Office Product skills: Word, Excel
- Strong editing skills needed
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, highly dynamic work environment
- Able to sit/stand and be on the phone for long periods of time. Desks adjust to any sitting or standing position.
- Eligible to be hired in a healthcare facility with a background check
