You will also be involved in evaluating and implementing key cybersecurity technologies, as well as representing customer needs in technical discussions with government agencies. Your expertise will contribute to developing detailed roadmaps for future capabilities, as well as testing and documenting network upgrades to ensure secure, seamless implementations.

  • Research and deploy enterprise-wide cybersecurity solutions and enhancements to align with customer mission goals.
  • Recommend technology upgrades and changes to improve performance and align with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide detailed guidance on hardware/software selection, implementation techniques, and tools to meet current and future business needs.
  • Represent customer requirements in technical exchanges with other government agencies.
  • Develop and maintain architecture diagrams and capability roadmaps.
  • Assist with creating and executing test plans, documenting network upgrades, and obtaining customer approval prior to implementation.
  • Lead or support teams and task efforts as needed.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and external assessors to manage security assessments and the authorization process.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Expertise: Deep knowledge in one of the following areas and familiarity with others: Network Detection and Response (NDR), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs), Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), F5 platforms, and email/web security gateways.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and security principles, including compute, storage, and transport.
  • Operating Systems: Expertise in both Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to develop detailed reports and deliver presentations to senior management.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, taking initiative to drive solutions.
  • Experience: 6+ years of technical experience in network/cybersecurity engineering, including working with large-scale enterprise/global networks in complex environments with an emphasis on DoD capabilities.
  • Experience in Modernization: Proven track record of modernizing enterprise cybersecurity systems.
  • Clearance: Must hold a TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a Polygraph.
  • Certifications: Must hold certifications as per DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical Officer (IAT) Level III and Information Assurance System Architecture and Engineering Specialist (IASAE) Level II.
