We are Eagle Integrated Services, LLC (EIS) a technical solutions contracting and consulting firm supporting several military installations and federal agencies across the nation. We are currently seeking a Journeyman Data Analyst for a 100% remote role supporting our customer at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines within the Palantir Foundry platform.
- Integrate and transform data from various sources to support analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with application developers and data analysts to understand data requirements.
- Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across the platform.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
- Document data engineering processes and best practices.
- Develops, implements, operates and maintains data collection, storage, analysis and reporting capabilities that turn data into actionable information.
- Interprets data, analyzes results using statistical techniques and provides ongoing reports
- Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintains databases/data systems
- Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Understands, follows and promotes the values and principles in the Agile Manifesto
- Understands, follows and promotes continuous cyber security risk management
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably with Palantir Foundry.
- Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Scala.
- Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and database management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Active Secret Clearance preferred, interim clearance acceptable
