Summary:
As a Data Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive data solutions that support the generation, collection, and processing of data. This role includes creating efficient data pipelines and ensuring the integrity and quality of data throughout its lifecycle. The position also requires implementing processes to extract, transform, and load data, facilitating smooth migration and deployment across various systems. Collaboration with different teams to optimize data workflows and support organizational data needs is an integral part of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure continuous and reliable data flow.
- Document data processes and workflows to maintain clarity and support knowledge sharing.
- Assist junior team members in understanding project requirements and best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience in building and managing scalable data pipelines and workflows.
- Strong knowledge of data integration and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.
- Ability to optimize data processing for performance and reliability.
- Understanding of data governance and quality assurance practices.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
--100 percentage Work from Office
- Work will be performed in a secured bay environment with restricted access on Accenture-issued laptops.
- Offshore coverage is limited to Shift A and Shift B only
- Indicative split: 50 percentage Shift A / 50percentage Shift B.
- Offshore AMS candidates should be open to rotational shifts and on-call rotations as per policy.( Weekend and Shift C coverage on need basis )
