Job Description

Data Engineer

Are you a Data Engineer looking for new challenges? At Ceibo we are looking for you! We continue to grow and we are looking to add a Data Engineer to our team to work on global projects.

Team: Data Analytics
Schedule: fulltime
Location: Argentina, Paraguay, Remote

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into a centralized data lakehouse.
  • Optimize and improve data quality to ensure accuracy and availability.
  • Collaborate with analytics and development teams to understand and meet data needs.
  • Implement and monitor data storage solutions and cloud architectures.
  • Develop and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data flow.
  • Perform testing and maintain data systems, ensuring performance and security.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Databricks.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (such as PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Experience with ETL tools and building data pipelines (preferably Databricks Jobs and Pipelines).
  • Basic knowledge of Python programming.
  • Experience with cloud services (preferably Azure).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (preferably Azure Repos).
  • Analytical skills and proactive problem-solving abilities.

Desirable

  • Experience with dashboards and data visualization tools (such as Tableau or Power BI).
  • Knowledge of data modeling and database optimization.
