  • Apply database design and data architecture best practices, including schema development, data modeling, normalization, optimization, and data integrity controls.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable, secure data solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution documentation, interface specifications, data flow diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in Agile delivery processes, including backlog management, sprint planning, status tracking, and issue resolution using Jira.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, integration, and performance issues across complex data environments.
  • Develop and execute testing strategies for ETL pipelines and data workflows.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to other Data Engineers.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, analysts, stakeholders, and program leadership to support successful delivery outcomes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering practices, processes, and solutions.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, Amazon S3, and related ETL or cloud data integration technologies.
  • Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and data architecture best practices.
  • Experience with table design, stored procedure development, query optimization, and data integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop scalable, maintainable, and secure data pipelines.
  • Experience producing clear, structured technical documentation for both development and operational purposes.
  • Experience working within Agile development teams and using Jira for workflow and delivery management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience at the Consultant/Senior Consultant level, or equivalent USDC/PDM/Specialist level.

Highly Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or U.S. Air Force programs.
