Job description

cFocus Software seeks a Data Engineer to join our program supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This position is on site in the Washington DC, MD, & VA area. This position requires a TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance.
Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field with 4-12+ years of data engineering experience
  • Proficient in SQL and programming languages (Python, Scala, Java)
  • Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses

Duties:
  • Implements data integration solutions connecting disparate data sources.
  • Optimizes data workflows for performance and reliability.
  • Ensures data quality, consistency, and security.
  • Works with data scientists and analysts to support analytical requirements.
  • Implement data governance and metadata management practices.
