As a Data Processing Specialist in Market Research at Cursory Technologies, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data from various sources to generate actionable insights for our clients. You will work closely with the research team to transform raw data into meaningful reports, charts, and presentations that drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection:
Collect data from diverse sources such as surveys, online databases, and external partners.
Ensure data accuracy and completeness by conducting quality checks and validations.
Data Cleaning and Preprocessing:
Clean and preprocess raw data to remove inconsistencies, duplicates, and outliers.
Standardize data formats for efficient analysis.
Data Analysis and tabulations:
Utilize statistical and data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Excel, Quantum, Wincross) to extract meaningful insights from datasets.
Perform advanced data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
Reporting:
Create clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate research findings effectively.
Collaborate with the research team to develop visually appealing data visualizations.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on processed data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Address any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Data Management:
Organize and maintain databases, ensuring data security and accessibility.
Develop and implement data management best practices.
Client Interaction:
Collaborate with clients to understand their data requirements and tailor data processing solutions accordingly.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Market Research, or a related field.
- Proven 1-5 years of experience in data processing and analysis in the market research domain.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SPSS, Quantum, Wincross, R, Python, or Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large datasets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of market research methodologies and practices is a plus.
