We are looking for a Data Solution Architect to lead the design and evolution of modern, scalable data platforms on Microsoft Azure.
In this role, you will define architecture standards, guide engineering teams, and ensure that data platforms are secure, governed, reusable, and future-ready. You will operate at the intersection of enterprise architecture, data engineering, and cloud platform development—helping shape both strategic direction and hands-on implementation.
This is a high-impact senior position with strong influence on how data and AI capabilities are built and delivered across complex environments.
What you will do
Define and evolve target architecture and platform standards for Azure-based data solutions
Guide teams through architecture decisions, ensuring alignment with long-term roadmap and best practices
Design scalable and governed data platforms, including data flows, integration patterns, and service selection
Embed security, observability, reliability, and cost optimization into platform design from the start
Provide hands-on architecture guidance and review technical designs across teams
Support implementation by translating architecture into practical, reusable patterns
Maintain architecture artifacts such as reference architectures, diagrams, and decision records
Drive platform-as-a-product mindset, enabling self-service and reusable data capabilities
Ensure that the platform is AI-ready, while preserving governance and clarity of responsibilities
What you bring
Proven experience designing and implementing Azure-based data platforms
Strong background in cloud architecture, data engineering, and platform design
Experience working in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments - life sciences, medical devices, pharma, healthcare, banking, or government
Ability to move seamlessly from high-level strategy to hands-on detail
Track record of treating platforms as products, not one-off projects
Experience leading architecture discussions and mentoring engineering teams
Full professional English, with experience leading architecture discussions directly with enterprise clients
