About the Project:
The project focuses on advancing smart, sustainable parking and mobility solutions. It aims to transform traditional parking spaces into innovative Urban Hubs, multifunctional centers that support electric vehicle charging, shared mobility, and seamless, contactless parking through a dedicated app. The goal is to make everyday mobility easier, more efficient, and environmentally friendly.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis databases.
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
- Design and execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with best practices.
- Perform database upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
- Monitor database health and proactively resolve issues.
- Collaborate with development and platform teams to support application deployments and infrastructure improvements.
- Troubleshoot database incidents and provide timely resolution.
- Create and maintain database documentation, operational procedures, and standards.
- Support capacity planning and database scalability initiatives.
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB administration, including sharded cluster management.
- Experience with Redis administration and caching strategies.
- Experience with database performance tuning and query optimization.
- Solid understanding of backup and recovery strategies.
- Experience with database monitoring tools (New Relic is a plus).
- Experience with Azure cloud database environments.
- Understanding of high availability, replication, and clustering concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Terraform.
- Familiarity with Databricks.
