Job Description
As a DevOps engineer you will play a crucial role optimizing the development and deployment lifecycle of our suite of products. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to streamline processes, automate tasks, ensure uptime of our services, and deliver software efficiently.
What you'll learn and do
You will:
- Help us see the big picture to design fault tolerant systems so that the team can be brave and move fast without breaking things
- Find simple, elegant solutions to hard problems
- Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using tools such as Ansible, Terraform
- Support secure and compliant infrastructure operations by following SOC 2 and industry best practices for access control, auditing, monitoring, automation, and change management
- Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues
- Collaborate with engineering to integrate automated testing and quality assurance into the CI/CD pipeline
- Ensure security best practices are implemented throughout the development and deployment processes
- Find simple, elegant solutions to hard problems
- Grow as an engineer
Qualifications
What you bring to the team:
- Curiosity, and a desire to learn and teach
- Eagerness to share your own ideas, and open to those of others
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps principles
- Familiarity with microservices
- Familiarly with GitOps and infrastructure as code
- Experience with scripting using Bash or Python
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working in healthcare or HIPAA-compliant environments
