Our team develops the foundation of the Application Server ABAP. The server is written in ABAP and C/C++ and hosts the ABAP virtual machine, manages hardware resources, network communication, requests and user sessions. We provide infrastructure for monitoring, background processing and lifecycle management. Our team developed key innovative elements to win the prestigious Hasso Plattner Founders' Award 2014. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Integrated into our Scrum development team you will develop and evolve the central components of the Application Server ABAP. You will:
- Analyze and design in close collaboration with the Product Owner
- Implement the solution in ABAP and/or C/C++
- Create automated tests, technical documentation and product standard deliverables
- Work with the consumers of new features
- Evolve existing features
WORK EXPERIENCE
This is an entry level position for fresh or recent graduates with max. 2 years work experience. Job relevant experience through working student jobs or internships is highly appreciated.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- University degree (bachelor, master, diploma, PhD) in computer science, mathematics, natural science, engineering or related fields
- Very good German and good English language skills
- Experience in software development
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Fun working in a small Scrum team
- Open mindset and learning aptitude
- ABAP and/or C/C++ programming skills would be a great benefit Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships).
