Responsibilities
Develop robust embedded software components leveraging C and C++ to support device functionalities and performance enhancements.Utilize extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems to implement test and optimize software modules in embedded environments.Manage source code and track changes with GIT to ensure version control collaboration and code integrity throughout the development lifecycle.Analyze system requirements and translate them into efficient code that meets project specifications and operational needs.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers quality assurance and product management to align development efforts with organizational objectives.Debug and troubleshoot embedded software issues using industry-standard tools to maintain code stability and reliability.Conduct thorough unit and integration testing to validate software functionality and interaction with hardware components.Document technical designs code changes and test results clearly to support seamless knowledge transfer and maintenance activities.Participate actively in code reviews to uphold code quality standards and foster continuous improvement practices.Optimize software performance and resource usage to conform to embedded system constraints such as memory and processing power.Adhere strictly to software development processes and schedules to achieve project milestones within set timelines.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices related to embedded systems and Linux platforms.Provide timely support and enhancements for existing embedded software solutions to enhance user experience and product competitiveness.Qualifications
Acquire a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in embedded software development particularly with C/C++ programming and Linux OS environments.Demonstrate proficiency in using GIT for source code management and collaboration within software development teams.Possess a strong foundation in embedded systems concepts real-time operating systems and hardware interfacing techniques.Require solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies applicable in product development contexts.Prefer experience in debugging and profiling embedded systems using relevant software tools and techniques.Work effectively within a hybrid work model combining remote and on-site activities aligned with company policies.Operate primarily during day shift hours ensuring availability for core project and team communications.Travel is not required for this position enabling focus on local and remote collaboration.Communicate fluently in English to facilitate clear technical discussions and documentation exchange across global teams.Certifications Required
