- Demonstrative the ability to include culturally competent and inclusive teaching practices that meet the college's commitment to belonging, equity, diversity and inclusion (BEDI).
- Demonstrate teaching effectiveness which supports student learning and encompasses pedagogies for student success to meet course and/or program requirements.
- Demonstrate a philosophy of teaching that provides learning opportunities that meet the needs of all students and supports students needing accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Familiarity with internet-based teaching resources and experience using a learning management system to deliver course material
- Ability to teach in a variety of modalities, including face-to-face, asynchronous and synchronous online courses.
- Possess effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
