We are looking for a Lead DevOps Architect with strong developer skills to be responsible for migrating internal teams off of Jira to Azure DevOps and off of Confluence to SharePoint. Successful candidates for this role will need practical and hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and be fluent in scripting languages, writing code from requirements, writing jobs and job workflows, analyzing APIs, using REST services, working daily with a small and highly motivated team, and being quality and detail oriented. The work to be done includes building and contributing to technical solutions to accomplish the migrations. Candidates should be comfortable with cloud environments, their PaaS and IaaS offerings, and using agile methodologies at the team level. Our Lead DevOps Architect should possess an understanding of software development, software configuration management, deployment and release management, application lifecycle management, infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps tools and processes.

· Writing tests to ensure the code/script written is performing well after refactoring.
· Solid understanding on how to write script/code/jobs on a Windows machine.

· Can work within the Agile/scrum methodology, which includes being fast but not sacrificing quality for speed.
· Can work as part of the team, contributing to the understanding and success of the team and its objectives.
· The ability to quickly and accurately analyze and diagnose issues with services, implementing code or script with defensive patterns to prevent dataflow disruption.
· Practical and hands-on knowledge of SQL and NoSQL implementations, schema development and maintenance, report generation with PowerBI or Excel.
