Summary:
As a DevOps Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and maintaining development tools and infrastructure that support continuous integration, delivery, and deployment processes. The role requires setting up secure and efficient pipelines that automate software delivery while ensuring system integrity. Collaboration with various teams to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency is a key part of daily activities. The position also involves monitoring and improving cloud-based environments and container orchestration platforms to support scalable and reliable software deployments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices in continuous integration and deployment to improve software delivery speed and quality.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster professional growth and technical excellence.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues promptly.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting ERP.
- Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies.
- Knowledge of security best practices in software development and deployment pipelines.
- Ability to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using scripting and automation tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting ERP.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
