Polymer Capital Management is a market-neutral, multi-manager investment platform based in and focused on Asia. Polymer was established in conjunction with PAG, one of the world's largest Asia-focused alternative asset managers, in 2019.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve infrastructure as code (IaC) deployments.
- Perform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage infrastructure environments in AWS or Data Centers, including compute, storage, and network services.
- Configure and maintain network security tools, identity services, and access management systems, particularly using Okta.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to guarantee availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to align infrastructure with application development needs.
- Ensure disaster recovery and backups are properly configured and regularly tested.
- Stay updated with new technologies and best practices in infrastructure management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM majors
- Strong background in Linux administration
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Experience with IaC (e.g. Terraform)
- Experience with AWS management
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong programming background is a plus
- Experience with managing data centers is a plus
- Relevant certifications are a plus
