Job Description
⦁ Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
⦁ Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
⦁ Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
⦁ Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
⦁ Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
⦁ Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
⦁ Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
⦁ Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill and Experience
•Deep AWS Expertise: Strong architectural and operational experience with Amazon Web Services, including compute, networking, security, and storage.
•AWS EMR Mastery: Proven, hands-on experience configuring, optimizing, and managing AWS Elastic MapReduce (EMR) for large-scale data processing.
•Kubernetes Authority: Extensive experience building, deploying, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters in production environments (e.g., EKS).
•Python Proficiency: Strong programming skills in Python for infrastructure automation, building internal tooling, and scripting.
•CI/CD: Proficiency in building and maintaining pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
•Observability: Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
•General DevOps & Tooling: Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Preferred Skill and Experience
•Ability to explain complex technical challenges clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate seamlessly across diverse teams.
•Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly isolate and resolve
