The impact you will create:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools, incorporating automated testing, static code analysis with SonarQube, and code quality checks to ensure maintainability and reliability.- Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes for scalable, resilient infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain job orchestration and workflow automation in Databricks.
- Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to track application performance, system health, and security metrics.
- Ensure security best practices and compliance requirements (including GDPR) are embedded throughout the development lifecycle, focusing on secure deployments, secrets management, and access control.
- Manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), optimizing for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to promote DevOps culture, share technical expertise, and drive adoption of automation and best practices.
Experience and skills you will need:
- Demonstrated ability in stakeholder communication and management
- Good understanding of related data disciplines (e.g. data engineering, analytics)
- Ability to understand, analyze and translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
- Enthusiasm for collaboration, knowledge sharing and joint learning
- Very good English skills - German is a plus, but not a must
