The team:
You will join a team of professionals who develop, operate and maintain network management tools and automation solutions to reduce manual work and improve data quality at Swisscom. You will be part of an international and geographically distributed team with cultural diversity responsible for automation and operational excellence in the network management domain.
Your main tasks will include:
Develop and maintain automation tools to optimize processes and improve data quality
Operate and support applications and OSS systems (2nd & 3rd level support)
Contribute to the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Monitor and troubleshoot systems using modern monitoring and logging tools
You will work with Python, Go, Java, Ansible, Kubernetes, Linux virtualization, Tacacs, Prometheus, Grafana, ElasticSearch, Fluentbit

Salary from 2600 to 5500 EUR monthly gross
80 EUR monthly cell phone and internet allowance

Job requirements
We value curiosity, learning, and teamwork as much as deep technical expertise.
Must-have:
Strong knowledge of networks and Linux systems
Experience with one or more programming languages (e.g. Python, Go, Java, C) and cloud platforms (OpenStack, AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware)
Experience with one or more monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentbit, ElasticSearch, Logstash
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles, including Git, Gitlab, Argo CD, Ansible, Terraform and/or Kubernetes
Agile mindset and collaborative working style
Willingness to participate in on-call duties after onboarding (with a weekly rotation, once every ~5-6 weeks)
Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Good English skills
Nice-to-have:
Experience with Kafka
Experience with Tacacs
Prior experience in telecom or network management systems
Experience with Frontend
