DevOps Engineer
01 Digital Age accompanies exclusively German companies through all challenges of digital transformation. We offer IT-Consulting, Software and web development, and UI design. Current technologies and agile process models are standard for us.
Your Challenge:
You will be part of a new & international team that built a lot of projects from scratch. Your task will be the deployment and maintenance of web applications for our clients from Germany. We are using AWS and GCP for our cloud-based, serverless infrastructure
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
- 3 – 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Background on development (basic knowledge minimum).
- B1- B2 (English).
- Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
- Proficient with git and git workflows
- Experienced in CI/CD
- Problem-solving attitude
- Collaborative team spirit
Responsibilities:
- 3-5 years of experience and best practices in cloud computing and will use your wealth of experience to develop improvements, upgrades, and fixes and support the subsequent rollout for this.
- You will actively participate in the further development of the infrastructure and application architecture. In doing so, you will work closely with our software development team to find the best possible solutions to problems.
- You will work with cloud infrastructure providers (mainly AWS) to continuously improve the infrastructure and service stack.
- You will support in troubleshooting and problem-solving around hosting, application, deployment, and operational issues.
- You will collaborate across teams and departments to improve our tools, systems, technical processes, and data security.
- You will implement automation and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).
- You will perform system testing in the areas of security, performance, and availability. You will also monitor infrastructure and application behavior.
- You will assist in troubleshooting operational issues and coordinate this with the development team to facilitate code deployment.
- You will create and continuously maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.
