Now hiring! Digital Process Optimization Specialist

Windsor, Ontario

We are looking for a Digital Process Optimization Specialist to join our team in Windsor, Ontario.

New finish, Proven expertise. Bolder ambition.

If you're someone who inspires others, owns their impact, and wants to elevate what they do, you'll fit right in.

Until July 1, our business was part of BASF. As part of the current transition, all job listings and the application process are still hosted on the BASF platform and therefore fully presented in BASF branding. Please do not be confused by this: All roles are positions at Surventis, and your application will be submitted to us.

At Surventis, we go beyond the surface - in everything we do. We put customers at the center, think one step ahead, and develop solutions that create real value and lasting partnerships.  We inspire each other to think further, take ownership of our work, and constantly push to elevate what's possible. If you bring your full self, challenge the obvious answer, and want to grow with a team that means it - this is your place.

You will execute and deliver global digital initiatives from regional direction that improve process efficiency, asset utilization, and decision-making across manufacturing operations, with the goal of turning data into decisions. You will be responsible for hands-on implementation, collaboration, and technical execution to achieve our strategic goals, ensuring that digital solutions are deployed, adopted, and actively used at the Windsor Site. You will drive the use of standard KPIs and dashboards to support performance comparisons and informed decision-making, deliver measurable improvements in Fixed Manufacturing Costs and asset utilization, and enable operators and teams to independently leverage digital tools to enhance operational performance.

As a Digital Process Optimization Specialist, you will...

  • Execute digital transformation initiatives in process optimization using data-driven solutions to reduce waste, waiting times, transportation losses, and inefficiencies.
  • Modernize virtual assessment and benchmarking practices to compare site performance, evaluate innovation initiatives, and identify rollout potential.
  • Support the definition, development, and rollout of standardized global KPIs and dashboards.
  • Develop and deploy digital decision-support tools for shop-floor operations and cross-functional processes.
  • Drive the shift from traditional continuous improvement methods to a digital-first approach.
  • Design and deliver training and enablement programs focused on practical digital tool usage.
  • Manage Regional cross-functional projects with focus on cost awareness and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with operations teams while enabling future digital capabilities.

If you have...

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for process optimization.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong motivation for hands-on digital implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, MES, and ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Project management experience
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ownership, speed, and cost-focused mindset.
  • Agile, results-oriented way of working.
