The Director for Platform Engineering plays a pivotal role within DataWorks, one that spans managing skilled, technical teams, setting standards, staying abreast of key technical innovations, creating and driving Dataworks engineering strategy, defining and building the Dataworks organization and facilitating the delivery of key business initiatives.
As a Director for Platform Engineer team you will be leading a team of people leaders and highly skilled engineers responsible for developing cloud infrastructure, data engineering frameworks, proprietary data science platforms and information management services.

The Director will be deeply involved in code reviews and large-scale deployments. In addition, the Director will take the primary responsibility for the continued training and up-skilling of the Data Engineering Team, as well as ensuring that the pyramid the Director manages is appropriately sized and skilled for the set of initiatives in flight and projects where such expertise is required.
