Job Description

About Enthought

Enthought is a global leader in scientific computing, AI, and digital transformation. With offices in Austin, Tokyo, and Cambridge, we partner with the world’s most innovative companies to solve complex technical challenges through cutting-edge software, training, and consulting. Our team works directly with leading enterprises across manufacturing, energy, pharmaceuticals, and finance.

About the role

We're looking for a senior technical leader to own our global DevOps and Customer Support functions. You'll set strategy, build and lead a distributed team, and ensure the infrastructure and services that power our products and professional services run reliably across every time zone we operate in. This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll contribute architectural thinking and deep technical expertise while mentoring the team and shaping how we deliver.

What you'll own

  • DevOps strategy & infrastructure — Lead cloud infrastructure across dev, staging, and production. Own the DevOps roadmap and align it with product and engineering needs.
  • Customer & product support — Manage global support operations, set quality metrics, and ensure contractual support obligations are met across all products.
  • Team leadership — Supervise DevOps engineers and Customer Success admins. Coach, grow, and retain a high-performing global team.
  • Budget & resource management — Own infrastructure and support budgets. Optimize cloud costs and allocate resources effectively across functions.

What you'll bring

  • 4+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, with strong Linux, Windows, and network management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent); M.S. preferred
  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and container-based deployment
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, particularly in scientific or technical contexts
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Terraform
  • Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Customer-oriented mindset with strong analytical and communication skills
