Dispatch Specialist

Factor_ a brand of HelloFresh is seeking a dedicated Dispatch Specialist to join our growing team! As the Dispatcher you are directly responsible for overseeing and assisting in the daily delivery of our freight hauling. You will manage, mentor, and develop a team of drivers who ultimately ensure that our facilities receive quality and on-time shipments.

You will…

• Overseeing all our drivers from load-out beginning the start of the shift
• Planning routes with our system
• Respond to calls from drivers on their routes who need support
• Communicate with various members of the distribution center team members, facilitating pickups and deliveries
• Staff the routes and assign routes to drivers daily
• Manage driver gas cards, driver tools, etc
• Schedule maintenance services, roadside service calls, etc
• Occasionally load/unload product
• Weekend work is required
• Any other tasks as assigned by management

At a minimum, you have…

• 2+ years experience in dispatching / driving role
• Working knowledge of optimization techniques and process flow improvements
• Experience managing a nimble, fast-growing team
• Computer skills, particularly G-Suite, Slack 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Energetic and excited about Imperfect
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
• Excels at independent, unsupervised work

Physical Demands:

• Ability to walk, bend, squat, climb, reach, and kneel
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Experience in material handling
• Sedentary work; involves sitting most of the time
• Occasional movement around the office may be necessary 
• Regular work with computers, including keyboards and screens
• Regular use of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets
