Job description

A Brief Overview

Complementing the objectives and overall fundraising goals of Institutional Relations & Development, assist in implementing a comprehensive stewardship plan for the recognition and continual engagement of key donors.

What You Will Do

  • Support implementation of donor stewardship strategies to recognize and engage key donors.
  • Coordinate endowed position establishment, appointments, and reappointments in partnership with the Manager, Stewardship Operations.
  • Draft and maintain donor acknowledgment templates.
  • Manage UH Connect eligibility data and coordinate timely, accurate membership fulfillment.
  • Coordinate stewardship and donor relations projects, including vendor management and creative deliverables.
  • Support donor and engagement events as needed.Complementing the objectives and overall fundraising goals of Institutional Relations & Development, assist in implementing a comprehensive stewardship plan for the recognition and continual engagement of key donors.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
  • For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)

Work Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience within a development department.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication and organizational skills.  Strong project management abilities required.  Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.

Special Skills & Equipment Knowledge:

  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge and InDesign or similar software a plus.
