Position is a "Work From Home" (anywhere, US)
General Summary:
This position is responsible for overseeing the implementation and ongoing client relationship/solution management of Electronic Payment Systems (EPS) for state and local solutions including the implementation and ongoing management of Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) for Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) or Women, Infant & Children (WIC). Electronic Payment Cards (EPC) for cash programs such as unemployment insurance, and other related financial programs.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provides leadership implementing and managing new and existing EPS state or contracts with varying degrees of complexity. Oversees the project/relationship from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer stakeholders and EPS business and technical resources.
- Strategically focused and responsible for client satisfaction, maintaining communication and overall management of the client relationship.
- Identifies and executes opportunities to grow the client relationship/business while focusing on delivery of current contract products.
- Ensures program operates within budget and in accordance with contract requirements.
- Identifies areas of continuous improvement and opportunity for cost savings and performance efficiencies.
- Primary customer interface for all aspects of the project and ongoing contact relationship.
- Prepares and manages project implementation plans/schedules, project budget, and profit and loss.
- Conducts onsite visits throughout the implementation to assess project status, assist in solution build, and to provide education and support.
- Works with customers to troubleshoot system functionality issues.
- Builds key performance indicators and reports for customers.
- Analyzes data received from customer/system to troubleshoot system problems/operation.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Education, Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of equivalent work experience, preferably in a payments related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in implementing and managing large scale complex implementations as project or program managers.
- Strong organizational skills including the ability to plan, direct, organize, prioritize, and control business operations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project software.
- 3 - 5 years of managing complex client relationship experience with a preferred emphasis on citizen customer care environments.
- Experience with budget and/or P&L management responsibilities.
- Excellent coaching, counseling and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work independently with only general management direction.
- Demonstrated strong organizational, multi-tasking, and interpersonal communication skills along with proven negotiation and client relationships skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in Electronic Payment Card (EPC), Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT), SNAP Programs, Electronic Child Care (ECC) OR Electronic Women, Infant, and Children (EWIC).
- Experience with Prepaid Card (MasterCard/Visa) solutions.
- 5+ years of high-level government work experience and/or business development experience.
- Project Management Certification (PMP).

Up to 25% travel requirement associated with this position.
