EARLY LEARNING ASSOCIATE EDUCATOR: Under supervision of the site administrator or designee, plans, organizes and implements approved developmentally appropriate curriculum for children enrolled in the District’s early learning programs; provides a safe and nurturing environment conducive to the growth and development of children.

If you have already taken and passed the Instructional Assistant Competency Exam with one of the following districts, notify a member of the Personnel Commission staff at the time you are invited to the test:

We reserve the right to limit the number of candidates to those deemed most qualified for the particular vacancy, based upon application screening and test scores.

There will be an application screening for the position to verify that the minimum qualifications (education & experience) have been satisfied. We will email you via www.edjoin.org to advise you if you may participate in the written and/or performance exam. All candidates will be required to provide a photo ID with their signature. Face coverings are highly recommended but not required.

Written Exam: OVSD tests on Wednesdays. Once you have applied, it has been determined that your application is complete, and you have met the minimum qualifications, you will receive an invitation to test via email with the date of the exam. Employees who work thirty (30) or more regularly assigned hours per week are eligible for health and welfare benefits and will receive a district contribution toward a cafeteria fringe benefit package. Employees who are eligible, as described above, are required to participate in employee only medical, dental and life insurance coverage.
