An exciting 12-month internal secondment opportunity has arisen within the Faculty of Brain Sciences for a Grade 7 Education Coordinator (Taught Programmes), supporting the Queen Square Institute of Neurology Hub.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership, operational, and strategic experience within education administration at faculty level. You will play a central role in coordinating a portfolio of taught programmes, leading a team, and working closely with academic and professional services colleagues to deliver an excellent student experience from enquiry through to graduation.
The role sits within the Faculty Education and Student Experience team, offering exposure to cross-faculty working and opportunities to contribute to service innovation and continuous improvement.
About the role
The role involves:
- Leading and supporting a team delivering high-quality administration across a portfolio of taught programmes
- Coordinating key education processes, including admissions support, assessment and exam boards, curriculum data, and student records
- Ensuring a consistently high-quality student experience from recruitment through to completion
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and ways of working across the Faculty

About you
- Has experience working in education administration, ideally within a higher education environment
- Is confident coordinating complex activities and managing competing priorities
- Has experience supporting or supervising staff, or is ready to step into a line management role
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Is proactive, organised, and committed to delivering an excellent student experience
- Has an interest in improving processes and contributing to service development
